Roulette Systems

What is a Roulette System?
Let's face it, if you have ever played roulette then you'll know that the odds are mostly in favor of the casino winning. Players who want to give themselves a little more of an edge will look towards the more mathematical side of roulette, and that's where Roulette Systems come into play.
A roulette system is simply a mathematical pattern of play, based on the odds which each roulette position pays. A system is a strategic set of bets that when combined, will produce a set of odds for your 'set' which will hopefully increase your chances of winning.
Systems use logic and probability to determine what the odds of an outcome are. When you combine the odds of more than 1 bet, you start to change the odds in your favor. Be under no illusion, casinos are businesses and are still out to make money, however by using systems you might give yourself more of a chance to get lucky and be a winner rather than a random loser.
Basic Roulette Odds
Underneath is a table which shows the basic single bet odds on the bet zones found on a roulette table. The table shows both American and European roulette, where the difference is that American style wheels contain 2 zeros and European style wheels contain only 1 zero spot. Obviously European style provide a slightly better odd for the player, however it is difficult to find European style wheels in North America. However, online casinos will typically have both styles now.
