Cantor Gaming, an affiliate of global financial services firm Cantor Fitzgerald, has entered into a partnership with Tropicana Las Vegas to operate the casino’s new race and sports book. The state-of-the-art race and sports book is anticipated to open in fall 2010.

As the operator of the brand new Tropicana Race and Sports Book, with an entrance directly on Tropicana Avenue, Cantor Gaming is bringing mobile gaming and high-tech ‘sports trading’ to one of the original Las Vegas Strip hotels.

Cantor Gaming’s eDeck enables Tropicana’s guests to play a wide selection of casino games, including games developed exclusively by Cantor Gaming such as XtraOdds™Blackjack and XtraOdds Baccarat.

In addition to the sports book, Cantor Gaming’s In-Running Wagering system, provided on Cantor’s mobile gaming device, eDeck, will be offered throughout Tropicana Las Vegas, including the bars, lounges, restaurants and new beach club. Cantor’s trading technology processes transactions in milliseconds, enabling people to place their wagers directly from their seats in the new Tropicana sports book at any time during a sporting event.

Construction of the new, state-of-the-art race and sports book at Tropicana Las Vegas, including installation of mobile gaming, will begin upon securing appropriate regulatory approvals, and is expected to open in the fall of 2010.
