Coral wins “"Bookmaker of the Year”" at UK Gambling awards

The public voted Coral as “Bookmaker Of The Year” from a list that included all the major British bookmakers, including Coral, Ladbrokes and William Hill.“Everyone at Coral can be very proud of this award. It is just reward for the considerable contribution that all our staff have made to Coral's recent growth and success”, said Wilf Walsh, Managing Director of Coral.
Coral operates over 1200 betting shops in the UK, as well as a significant telephone betting operation, a leading online betting service at Coral.co.uk offering a wide range of sports betting and gaming, and two of Britain's leading Greyhound Racing Stadia - Brighton & Hove and Romford.
In October 2005, Coral was bought by Gala Group this merger has created Europe's pre-eminent betting and gaming business.
