Digital Gaming Network Readies for Extreme Growth by Upgrading Poker Software Platform
| 16 January 2007 |
Digital Gaming Network (DGN) took a big leap forward toward securing a significant share of the online poker market this week, with the release of its updated and re-tooled software. On the heels of its acquisition of Gibraltar-based Poker software company Dobrosoft and several recent signings of established network partners, DGN has been quickly making a name for itself creating a solid footprint in the online gaming business. "You will see the network's volume grow significantly over the next eight weeks," states company spokesperson Nicole Sims.
Digital Gaming Network's multi-player poker software offers full ring game and tournament play. The recent upgrades include the addition of new architecture and hardware components that are designed to maximize scalability and network capacity to significant levels. Through direct input from its own experienced product team, Network Partners, individual player groups and poker pros alike the company is now focused on the addition of several new game features and components. "We are building the premier poker platform for our industry. There are more than 200 personnel now dedicated to this goal and we are passionate about this endeavour," explains Ms. Sims.
One of their latest improvements was to add a new ring game that many poker software companies have stayed away from. Everyone has Texas Hold'em, 7 Card Stud Hi and Hi/Lo, and Omaha Hi and Hi/Lo, but Digital Gaming Networks has also included 3 Card Poker ring games. Other unique ring game features they offer that others don't include kill pots, straddle and chop options.
Making things even easier for Network Partners that license the software is DGN's ability to integrate them quickly with full service solutions. The software is designed for large scale operators looking for fully integrated solutions. "Flexibility will be the key to our success. We understand the needs of operators in the poker space and are focused on providing real solutions to satisfy their operational needs," adds Ms. Sims. Included in the platform are many components that allow network partners to choose the bundle of solutions that best fit their needs from cashier systems and back-end reporting modules to affiliate promotion and even add on game options that include 50+ casino games.
Poker players can be a particular crowd to satisfy, but Digital Gaming Network's fully customizable software makes it easy for the Network Partner to tailor everything they see to their liking. This includes the lobby, avatars, tables, chairs, cards, and even the carpet.
Digital Gaming Network can handle heavy player ring game and tournament loads with a solid stable platform that is ready to become an industry standard. "We understand the player desire for tournament play and advanced features. Our software allows for complete customization for Partner specific tournaments along with Network-wide events."
Network security and providing a safe and secure environment for the player is paramount. DGN supports its Network Partners by bolstering their staffs with a network-wide collusion and fraud team for added support. DGN's management team comes to the company with an average of 4-5+ years of online poker experience. "We have been able to assemble an impressive team in the past few months and they are ready to take the industry by storm!"
Digital Gaming Network is also thinking about the future and is already hard at work on new feature additions for their software. Some of the features under development for future releases include chat lobby enhancements, improvements to ring games, additional tournament options and hand history components for player tracking.
DGN will debut the new software at the ICEi Show in London January 23-25th, 2007. More information about the Digital Gaming Network and its gaming platforms is available by contacting Nicole Sims at +44 207 0239 490.
