Doyle Brunson Creates Buzz at the Recently Concluded Poker Industry Expo Held in Beautiful Costa Rica

Costa Rica boasts so much rich and exotic scenery, that one might easily forget there is poker too!

With the inception of poker tournaments televised to main stream America, poker has rapidly become a multi-billion dollar industry. An industry so diverse, that its revenue originates from an array of services – such as poker cruises, poker chip manufactures, poker seminars and in recent years: online poker trade shows.

This is the first year that the “Poker Industry Expo”(PIX) - organized by independent event planners was held in Costa Rica. The show came to a halt as the legendary Doyle Brunson entered the expo room and agreed to sign autographs for all of the shows attendees.

Without a doubt, the expos highlight came when US state representative from North Dakota James Kasper (whose led efforts to legalize online poker in his state) walked up to the DoylesRoom.com booth for an autograph. Doyle’s appearance generated buzz throughout the PIX attendees: giving the event star appearances from the “Mad Genius of Poker” Mike Caro too.

DoylesRoom.com PR manager, Alejandro Collins was quoted saying -

“The event was very educational covering topics like poker room management, poker technology and poker marketing. Overall, it was an excellent opportunity for DoylesRoom.com to show why we’re the fastest growing poker room online” - added Mr. Collins.
