MASHANTUCKET, Conn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Slot revenue at Foxwoods Resort Casino® in May 2012 was $50.4 million, a slight increase from the previous month but a decline of $5.4 million or 9.8 percent from the same period a year ago. Slot handle was off from June 2011, down 13.3 percent to $588.0 million.

Foxwoods contributed $13.5 million to the Connecticut Special Revenue Fund based on May 2012 activity. Since opening in 1992, the Resort Casino has made a cumulative contribution to the state of Connecticut in excess of $3.36 billion.
