A total of nine horses have been declared for Saturday's Investec Derby at Epsom and Betfred have announced that if red-hot favourite Camelot wins the race by four or more lengths, then they will double his odds for anyone who places a bet at the starting price.

Aidan O'Brien's QIPCO 2000 Guineas winner is currently the 8/13 market leader with Betfred and if he goes off this price and wins by four lengths or more on Saturday, then anyone who places an SP bet between Friday morning and the start of the race will be paid out at 5/4.

"Everyone keeps telling me that Camelot will be a runaway winner of this year's Derby but from what I've seen on the track so far, I'm not so sure," said Betfred chairman Fred Done.

"I'm willing to put my money where my mouth is though. If Camelot wins the Derby by four lengths or more, I'm going to double the price for any punter who places a bet at SP. So if the red-hot favourite hoses up, I'll double your lot!"

The offer is available from 8.30am on Friday morning in all 1360 Betfred shops, online and over the phone.

Bonfire is the 4/1 second-favourite with Betfred to land the Derby whilst O'Brien's other runner, Astrology, is next in the market at 8/1 alongside Main Sequence. It's 16/1 bar this quartet.

'Double Your Lot' - If Camelot wins the Investec Derby by four or more lengths, then Betfred will double the official starting price on all bets placed at SP up to GBP1000. The price will be rounded up to the nearest recognised price - ie if Camelot wins the Derby at 8/13 by five lengths, then Betfred will pay out at a price of 5/4 (1.23/1 rounded up to 1.25/1).
