Heads-up play began with Bansi holding a small chip lead over hisopponent, Vincent Jacques. He methodically depleted Jacques' chip stack andcame close to finishing the job on two separate occasions, only to seeJacques survive by hitting miracle outs each time.

Finally, a short-stacked Jacques pushed all in pre-flop with A-8 andBansi quickly called with A-J. The board ran out Q-Q-J-8-2, sealing thevictory for Bansi. With this win, he has now earned more than $2.3 millionplaying live tournaments around the world.
