Mark Vos, a 22-year old Australian who has earned a reputation as one of the world’s top online poker players proved today that he can play against live opponents equally well, becoming one of the youngest World Series of Poker bracelet winners in history.

Vos collected his first-ever WSOP bracelet in the $2,000 buy-in No-Limit Hold ‘em tournament when his queen-ten made trip queens, eliminating second-place finisher Nam Le and his pocket sixes. Vos’ performance earned him an $803,274 payday.

One of the newest professional poker players representing www.FullTiltPoker.com, Vos was an amateur player on the online poker site before turning pro. Playing under the name PokerBok, Vos could often be found playing in the most expensive ring games and tournaments, regularly honing his skills against established professionals like Team Full Tilt members Phil Ivey, John Juanda, and Mike Matusow.

Vos’ victory comes just three days after Full Tilt Poker’s Rafe Furst earned his first WSOP bracelet for winning the $1,500 Pot-Limit Hold ‘em tournament. With Vos’ win, Full Tilt Poker’s 43 professional players now own a total of 51 WSOP bracelets between them.

"Mark Vos is a young player with superstar potential," said fellow Full Tilt Poker pro Howard Lederer. "His online success is well documented, but what he has already accomplished in just a few live major tournaments is truly remarkable."

“It’s awesome, it was my day. I got lucky when I needed it and I couldn’t be happier,” said Mark Vos.

In addition to Vos, Full Tilt Poker professional Juan Carlos Mortensen reached his second final table of the 2006 WSOP, earning $73,344 for his ninth-place finish. Full Tilt Poker’s Toto Leonidas just missed the final table, earning $59,374 for finishing tenth.
