GameTech Names Steve Smallman as Vice President and GM of Bingo for the US and Canada

RENO, Nev., Aug. 13 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- GameTech International, Inc. ("GameTech(R)") (Nasdaq: GMTC), a leading designer, developer and manufacturer of electronic bingo, gaming equipment, gaming systems, and video lottery terminals, today announced the appointment of Steve Smallman as Vice President and General Manager of bingo for the US and Canada.
Prior to joining GameTech, Mr. Smallman served as Senior Vice President and General Manager of the Bingo Strategic Business Unit for Las Vegas Gaming, Inc.(LVGI), as well as serving in a number of recent consulting and senior management roles in other parts of the gaming and internet industries.
During his career in gaming, Mr. Smallman has been an instrumental contributor to the launch and success of electronic bingo overall, including prior roles at GameTech. Previously, Mr. Smallman also served as an Executive Committee member and head of Marketing and Customer Service for Bingo Technologies Corporation (BTC) of Stateline, NV, followed by several different executive management roles at GameTech after GameTech acquired BTC in 1999. Subsequently, Mr. Smallman held the role of Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Bettina Corporation in Dallas, Texas.
