Online poker room Green Joker Poker is proud to announce the addition of popular Irish poker pro Rob Taylor to the Green Joker Poker team. Rob, who finished second in the Irish Rankings in 2007, will play all the Grosvenor UK Poker Tour events under a sponsorship deal with the company.

The company has been busy of late, organizing the European Deep Stack Poker Championship taking place in the Drogheda Poker Club, Drogheda, Ireland from Feb. 2-10, 2008.

The innovative €1,500 main event, which starts on Feb. 6, sees players begin with €50,000 in chips and a one hour clock. A number of high-profile players have signed up for the event already including Poker Million champion Joe Beevers and fellow Hendon Mobster Barny Boatman.
