Guns N' Roses: Las Vegas Gig In September

According to the web site of the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, Guns N' Roses are scheduled to play at The Joint on September 16 and September 17. Tickets go on sale on August 19.

Guns N' Roses will headline KROQ's Inland Invasion 2006 on September 23 at the Hyundai Pavillion at Glen Helen in Devore, California. Additional U.S. dates are expected in the fall.


Guns N' Roses frontman Axl Rose has been saying that the band's long-delayed new album, "Chinese Democracy", will be out later this year.

Guns N' Roses' "Greatest Hits" collection, which was originally issued in March of 2004, was certified triple-platinum on April 11, 2006 by the RIAA (Recording Industry Association of America) for shipments in excess of three million copies. The CD sold more than 13,000 copies in the United States last week alone (week ending August 6), bringing the total number of copies sold since its release to 3.09 million, according to Nielsen SoundScan.
