MTV Studios and Paramount Pictures Home Entertainment Serve Up a Star-Studded Comedy From the Producer of "Bring It On," Featuring Grammy Award-Winner Ciara
| 27 April 2006 |
The action is hot, the players are pumped and the stakes are high in the smart, edgy comedy ALL YOU'VE GOT, the first film from MTV Studios and Paramount Pictures Home Entertainment. Set in the exciting world of girls' volleyball, ALL YOU'VE GOT explores high school rivalry and romance in the tradition of films like Bring it On and Mean Girls. ALL YOU'VE GOT follows two rival high school volleyball teams who battle it out both on and off the court.
Packed with top teen talent and a Latin and hip-hop influenced soundtrack featuring some of today's hottest artists, the feature film will debut on DVD May 23. The first release from the newly created DVD Studio, ALL YOU'VE GOT will also have additional exclusive features, content and promotions available on all MTV platforms including on-air, Mobile, VOD, Overdrive and on MTV.com. At the end of April, MTV.com will post a dedicated film page which provides Q&As with the stars (in English and Spanish), photos and a custom game, while MTV's Overdrive will air an exclusive premiere of the film trailer in early May. On May 13, a “Making Of All You've Got” movie special will air on MTV, followed by the world-premiere of ALL YOU'VE GOT on the network on May 20. Additionally, starting on May 5, VOD will run the “Making Of” special along with a 10-minute sneak peek. Wireless video content includes the trailer, cast interviews, deleted scenes and featurettes. Also, an All You've Got Mobile storefront on MTV.com will offer “Cast Picks” ringtones boutique and mobile wallpapers.
Personalities collide in ALL YOU'VE GOT when three privileged female volleyball players are forced to transfer to their opponent's high school after their private campus burns down. Layered with a hot soundtrack featuring popular music from Frankie J, Jennifer Peña, Lil Rob, Ciara, Outkast, Rihanna and Play N Skillz, the film follows two rival volleyball teams. The Madonnas of perennial powerhouse Villa Madonna Academy, led by Lauren (Sarah Mason) and best friend Becca (Ciara), and the inner city Lady Phantoms of Cathedral High, powered by Gabby (Adrienne Bailon) and Rada (Daniella Alonso; TV's “One Tree Hill”) go head-to-head, crossing racial, socio-economic and romantic lines to truly become one team and reclaim a championship trophy. The film also stars Efren Ramirez, Jennifer Peña, Doug Savant (“Desperate Housewives”), boxer and daughter of Muhammad Ali, Laila Ali and Faizon Love (Blue Crush).
