PartyGaming made the statement after it said trading in both poker and casino for the two months to Nov. 30 has been strong.

Numis Securities said that consensus pretax profit currently stands at around 277 million pounds. It is forecasting the company to produce pretax profit of 286.5 million pounds and said it wasn't planning to move its 2005 numbers at present.

The company said that average daily gross poker revenue rose 14% to $2.7 million, compared with the third quarter, and following the launch of blackjack and other new games.

It added that PartyPoker.com has performed strongly since the end of September, with an average new player signups of 2,455 a day -- in line with expectations -- and it added that it remains confident of achieving its target of 800,000 real-money poker signups for the full year.

The casino business has experienced a marked uplift in performance following the introduction of blackjack onto PartyPoker.com and the separation of its poker operating platforms, Numis analysts noted.

PartyGaming peers 888 Holdings and Sportingbet added 2.8% and 0.8% on London.
