Presque Isle Downs & Casino Will Host High Heels Poker Tour

Erie, PA, June 08, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Presque Isle Downs & Casino will host the High Heels Poker Tour (HHPT) Sunday, June 10 at 4 p.m.

The HHPT is the first all women’s poker tour launched on the East Coast. The HHPT will co-sponsor the ladies no-limit hold’em tournament at the casino poker room. The buy-in for this event is $105.

“This is a good opportunity for the ladies to come out and show their skills,” said Christine Stacy, Presque Isle Downs & Casino Poker Room Manager.

Satellites for this event will be offered on Friday June 8 at 7:30 pm and Saturday June 9 at 3:30 pm. The buy-in for this event is $35.

This event is one of two which will be held as part of the HHPT Red Stiletto Series. In addition to this event, the HHPT will be giving away, at random, a $1k buy-in for one lucky lady to the 2012 World Series of Poker Ladies Event in Vegas on June 29.

“The WSOP is the pinnacle of tournaments,” said Stacy. “This is a once in a lifetime chance to go to the biggest poker game in the world where the best-of-the-best come to play.”

Presque Isle Down & Casino’s sister property, Mountaineer Casino in Chester, West Virginia, will be home to the other event in August. The HHPT will also be holding an Academy at Mountaineer on Saturday, August 11 with instructor and famous poker pro Barbara Enright, culminating with a ladies only event on Sunday, August 12.

In June the HHPT will be heading to Vegas for the 2012 WSOP. On Wednesday, June 27, HHPT will be hosting the 2nd Annual Red Stiletto Team Event at MGM Resort in Las Vegas and a sit-n-go extravaganza June 28 at 4 pm at Treasure Island for seats to the $1k Ladies Event held at the Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino on June 29.

All entrants of the Presque Isle Downs & Casino event will automatically become a member of the ‘Red Stiletto Rewards’ Club.
