St Julians, Malta, May 11, 2010 --(PR.com)-- RaiseandFold Poker Room located at www.raiseandfold.com has announced weekly poker tournaments for ladies only. These tournaments will take place every Saturday at 5:00PM Eastern time and are restricted to ladies only.

TJ RaiseandFold's Poker Room Manager stated "There are a lot of women poker players that can hold their own when playing against their male counterparts. It's time for the ladies to take a leap forward and get out there in force to compete. Poker isn't about sex, race, or age. Women players should be respected for their abilities and not their looks.

"The demographics of women poker players right now is small but year after year is growing. The goal here is to help women take the next step in their career. While the tournaments here are smaller in nature it is the first step towards bigger and better events that can send women to tournaments around the world."

Entrants into the tournaments will receive 40% rakeback from the tournament fees as part of the player loyalty program that gives all players 40% rakeback upon becoming a member of the poker room.
