Secret Witness offered a $500 reward Monday for information leading to a prosecution in a case involving the use of a stolen credit card to get cash from local casinos.

A man is suspected of using the credit card June 25 at the Eldorado Hotel-Casino and at the Reno Hilton about 15 minutes later to get cash advances totaling $5,500, Washoe County sheriff's Detective Dave Frankel said.

The man, who might have been with an accomplice, was seen on surveillance video at the Reno Hilton about 2 a.m., Frankel said.

Investigators were looking at whether the credit card was taken from a health club where the victim works out, and whether the theft was the work of a fraud ring.
