Spotlight 29 Casino Brings K-Ci & JoJo, Al B. Sure and Silk Together for the Summer Love Jam

COACHELLA, Calif., July 27 /PRNewswire/ -- Spotlight 29 Casino has been celebrating the Summer of Fun, and now the casino is adding some love to the mix by bringing together some of the best names in R&B. K-Ci & JoJo, Al B. Sure and Silk will all perform at the "Summer Love Jam" on August 29 in the Spotlight Theater.

Tickets for Summer Love Jam are $40, $35 and $25 and are on sale now at Spotlight29.com, the Spotlight 29 Casino Gift Shop or by calling (800) 585-3737. Must be at least 18 to attend; 18 to 20 year-olds must be accompanied by an adult 21 or older. Show time is 8 p.m.

Multiple platinum-selling brothers K-Ci & JoJo first earned wide-spread fame in the 1990s in the band Jodeci, and scored hits with songs such as "Stay" and "Come & Talk to Me." Working away from Jodeci, K-Ci & JoJo released their own album "Love Always" in 1997, and quickly climbed the R&B and pop charts with songs such as "You Bring Me Up," "All My Life," and "Tell Me It's Real."

Also appearing is R&B star Al B. Sure, who recorded his first song at age 10, for a soundtrack of Sesame Street. Since then, he has become a multi-platinum selling artist for adult listeners. His 1988 debut album, "In Effect Mode," was a sensation on the pop and R&B charts, propelled by the smash hit single, "Nite And Day." The song "Off On Your Own (Girl)," was a number one R&B hit and secured Al B. Sure's star ranking among his urban fans.

Rounding out the night is Silk. Their debut album "Lose Control" hit number one and launched the band to stardom with their number one hit single "Freak Me." Other hits soon followed including "Lose Control/Girl U For Me," "I Can Go Deep," "Hooked On You" and "Meeting In My Bedroom."
