Rodriguez is known for his roles in the films "Ali," "Born in East L.A.," "Crocodile Dundee in L.A.," "D.C. Cab," "Rat Race," "Tortilla Soup" and for the landmark "The Original Latin Kings of Comedy" which he starred in and produced.

On television, he is loved for his roles in series such as "a.k.a. Pablo," "Grand Slam" and "Trial and Error," for countless appearances on HBO and Showtime and for his internationally seen entertainment talk show, "El Show de Paul Rodriguez." He is enshrined in the Smithsonian Museum for his part on the first television show about a Mexican American family to air on mainstream American television.

In addition to writing, directing, producing and performing, Rodriguez fills his time watching his son, Paul Rodriguez, Jr., a professional skateboarder and gold medal winner at the 2004 X Games.
