SunPoker.com Announces First Land Based Tournament

The line between virtual poker and the land based variety just became a bit fuzzier SunPoker.com is now bridging the gap from 'face to computer', to 'face to face' poker, with the announcement of the first annual 'Caribbean Poker Classic' No Limit Texas Hold 'Em tournament.
The televised event which will be held December 5 -11, 2004 at the Maho Beach Resort in sun drenched St. Maarten, boasts an estimated prize pool of $1,000,000.00. It has already begun to attract some of the biggest names in poker, as well as Hollywood celebrities looking for their piece of poker immortality.
The tournament is now open to the general public. Seats to the championship event can be won in the many satellite tournaments in SunPoker.com. Simply download the SunPoker.com software, log into the software, and on the Multi-Table Tournaments tab, you will see the qualifying satellites named "CARIBBEAN", at 4:00 PM EST, and 9:00 PM EST.
Winning a qualifying satellite online at www.SunPoker.com means more than just the $5100 buy-in for the championship eventcthe package includes your round trip airfare, six night's hotel accommodations, entry to the VIP welcome party, and a private party for the tournament winners.
