LINCOLN, Calif., July 7 /PRNewswire/ -- Excitement was the name of the game at Thunder Valley Casino Resort this June, with the anticipation leading up to the grand opening of the Resort's new hotel and spa accented by a month of huge jackpot winners.

There were 4,295 Jackpots in the month of June for a total of $10,633,255 in the month of June.

"Our expansion has been well accompanied by a surge in jackpot winnings. With all of the large jackpots, the new live poker room that seats up to 160 players and all of the other amenities we now have to offer here at Thunder Valley, there is really no better place to play."

As June ends, July begins, along with another $415,000 in promotional giveaways during the Jeep and Jackpot Safari. Every Friday and Saturday night, nine players will win $1,000 and one will win a 2010 Unlimited Sport 4X4 Jeep Wrangler.

Thunder Valley Casino Resort was opened by the United Auburn Indian Community in June 2003. The newly remodeled and expanded entertainment, dining and hotel resort is Northern California's first casino offering all the elements of real Las Vegas-style gaming: service, cuisine and entertainment in an outstanding facility.

The recent expansion of Thunder Valley Casino Resort includes a new luxury, 17-story hotel with 297 rooms including 40 suites.
