UltimateBet.com's Biggest Online Poker Series, A $2-million Online Championship, Kicks off Dec. 7

UltimateBet.com is making history this weekend as it kicks off its biggest online poker series yet. The UltimateBet.com Online Championship (http://www.ultimatebet.com/poker-tournaments/events/uboc) - a multi-million online poker series featuring some of the biggest names in poker - begins December 7th at 8pm ET.

Dubbed UBOC by the online poker site, the UltimateBet.com Online Championship features 13 online poker events spread out over 10 days. UBOC offers players the chance to play in a variety of guaranteed online poker games including 6-Seat No Limit Hold'em, Pot Limit Omaha, No Limit Hold'em, Limit Hold'em, and Pot Limit Omaha 8 or better.

The series culminates with a $1000+50 No Limit Texas Hold'em that boasts a $750,000 prize pool. UltimateBet plans to broadcast the final table of the December 16th event online.

While UBOC appeared to be impressive from the get go, UltimateBet.com continued to enhance the online poker series over the last several weeks, making the following announcements:
• An additional $100,000 Leader Board competition had been added to the competition
• Phil Hellmuth and Annie Duke will be playing in a number of events. Any online poker player who knocks either pro out of a tournament will receive a 20-minute poker lesson with that pro via telephone.
• Team UB Bounty Satellites have also been added to the mix. Each satellite pays out at least two seats to its corresponding UBOC event. Online poker players who knock out a Team UB pro will win their buy-in back.
