Bejeweled is a new type of slot based game which has massive appeal because its concept is reminiscent of old video puzzle games like Tetris or Columns.

The new design is a 5x5 grid of jewels which fall from the top of the screen to make up lines of jewels which create the combination required for wins. As the jewels fall into place, for each of the winning lines which you make, you winning jewels will disappear and allow more jewels to fall down. This means that you can continue to make win combination until the whole grid is filled up with no wins.

It makes for a very interesting game, and highly addictive fun! There are 10 win lines marked vertically and horizontally, and having the jewels fall and disappear is definitely a unique approach to the whole slots genre.

There is also a wild symbol which is really nice to complete some of the larger winning combination, and when I played this, I just had to keep playing. It's extremely good fun watching the jewels fall.
