This game was released in Feb 2004 and boy did it turn heads. Microgaming raised the bar when they released Big Kahuna. This is a feature packed 5 reel 9 payline slot machine with 2 extra bonus features.

This is also a game designed to suit mostly beginner and medium range players. The max coin size is only 0.50c so your max bet only costs you $22.50.

The first bonus is the Volcano Bonus which is a bonus round that is released by getting 3 or more volcano symbols on any active payline. In the bonus game, you choose one of the fruits and depending on your choice, you'll be awarded bonus coins from 25 to 2500.

The other bonus game is the Magic Mask bonus, which features once you have hit 3 or more mask symbols on any payline. Pick a mask and they reveal prizes. You can continue choosing, until you reveal the collect mask. If you are unlukcy enough to pick the collect mask straight away, you get a consolation prize. This bonus game can bring anything from 40 to 4000 extra coins.

Big Kahuna also has a scatter and a wild feature symbols. The monkey is the scatter pay and pays if you hit two or more anywhere on the reels. The wild symbols is only wild for the "Fruit" combinations and not all symbols.
