Microgaming releases this new game which claims to have no pay lines but instead has 243 ways to win. Burning Desire has large symbols with standard card suits and flaming diamonds. The graphics aren't really anything special, so we were hoping the game was something to behold.

One of the best new features on all Microgaming slots is the live payout table on the reels. Whenever the reels are stopped, you can click on a symbol and see its payout table.

After looking through the payout help screens, I still couldn't work out what was meant by the 243 ways to win without pay lines. So I still gave it a few spins to see what happens. I discovered that what was really meant by this no pay line thing, is merely that every pay line exists, you just have to hit symbols in a row and the slot machine will work out which pay line it is. So in basic, just assume every possible pay line combination exists.

The free spin round is triggered with 3 or more of the gold coin symbol. You'll get 15 free spins where all the wins are tripled. You will also get to gamble your winnings on the color black or red of a card.

Overall I'm not so sure I like this game. Even though it looks like it is trying to do something new, it really isn't. All its doing is repackaging what might be a multi-payline machine into something they like to call a no pay line machine.
