As part of Cryptologic’s Hollywood Jackpot series of slot games, Ferris Bueller’s Day Off is undoubtedly the crown jewel. Based on the insanely popular 1986 cult classic, this game reintroduces you to the iconic characters of the movie, gives you a chance to play some cool bonus games, and may even let you have a kick at Cameron’s father’s famous Ferrari.

Ferris Bueller’s Day Off is a 5-reel, 25-line slot machine featuring all of your favorite characters from the movie (except Ferris himself, ironically). The slots include Cameron (Ferris’ best friend), Sloane (his girlfriend), Jeanie (his sister), Principal Ed Rooney and his secretary Grace, Ferris’ parents, the vicious principal-chasing Rottweiler, the cherry-red Ferrari, and more.

Apart from getting to watch plenty of clips of Ferris Bueller’s Day Off, you’ll also have plenty of chances to win depending on which combination of slots you can hit. The Wild symbol is the FERRIS BUELLER’S DAY OFF symbol of Ferris’ mother and father, replacing everything but the scatter. The Scatter symbol is the Save Ferris Button symbol.

There are two separate bonus rounds you can trigger in this slot game. The first one is Fake the Parents. If you land three or more scatter symbols, you’ll be taken to a separate screen where you have to convince your parents that you’re too sick to attend school. To do this, you’ll get to press some cool-sounding synthesizer buttons to make coughing and wheezing noises. The more believable you are, the more you’ll win.

The second bonus game is the Kick the Car game, and this is triggered when you get the Ferrari in reel 2 and a Cameron symbol in reel 4. With this game, Cameron and the Ferrari take over the screen, and the harder you kick and damage the car the more money you’ll win.
