Another great 5 reel slot machine comes our way as we play Jolly Jester, a fun filled machine with a nice bonus game.

The theme of this game is court jesters, kings and queens and all things related. The graphics are quite adequate though I wouldn’t go so far as to say they were great. I guess they fit the bill.

The game itself plays really well, it is fast and there is not much lag time between spins. The bonus round is triggered when you hit 3 or more of the CASTLE symbols which is also a scatter.

The bonus game starts in the courtyard of the castle where you’ll see 9 boxes. You must keep selecting until you match 3 symbols. The matched symbol will determine what you win.

Match 3x “free spin” symbols and you’ll get 10 free spins starting with a multiplier of 1 and going up by one after each spin.

Match 3x “jester” symbols and you’ll get 10 free spins where all the King & Queen symbols become Jester substitute symbols and all wins are doubled.

Match 3x “castle” symbols and you’ll get 10 free spins where all the King & Queen symbols become Castle scatter symbols. All the wins are doubled.

Overall a decent game, redeemed mostly by an interesting free spin round which has big win potential, but still not the best online slot machine Microgaming has to offer.
