This game came slightly too late as it is inspired by the Olympic Games, but they have just finished. Still though it makes for an interesting game and I quite like the atmosphere it creates.On load, Medal Tally looks fantastic. The graphics are clean and clear and convey exactly what the sporting event is all about. The medal animations though are short and small, are still very nice to see. Medal Tally is a progressive game, however to hit the progressive jackpot you don't hit 5 in a row of a symbol. Instead you must first trigger the free spin feature. This is done by hitting 3 or more of the FEATURE wreaths on the screen. This is also the scatter symbol.When you do, you'll get 10 free spins for 3 hits, 15 free spins for 4 hits and 20 free spins for 5 hits. This feature can be retriggered. Indeed it needs to be so that you stand a chance of the jackpot. During the free spins, every medal that appears on the reels goes towards your medal count. To win the jackpot, you must get 50 or more medals during the free spins.Sounds like a tall order, but it can be done with a few retriggered free spin rounds. Medal Tally is a nice game overall and I like the feature difference. The theme is also very fitting and will certainly gain many supporters.
