On first glance I wasn't initially wowed by this game, but Polar Pioneers grows on you. The detailed graphics are lovely to look at, and the theme is wonderfully recreated with symbols of Ice picks, snow shoes and compasses.

First is the 2nd chance re-spin feature which is triggered with 2 of the HUSKIES symbol. Here the 2 reels with the symbols are held, and you get the other reels re-spun once. So effectively you get a double payout for the scatter, and a 2nd chance to hit the 3 HUSKIES which triggers the free spin round.

As mentioned already, it takes 3 HUSKIES to get the free spin round and you get 2 chances to hit it! You get 10 free spins where the wins are doubled. During this round you cannot trigger the 2nd Chance Spin feature.

Overall as was said at the beginning, Polar Pioneers grows on you as a game. When initially you aren't that impressed by it, over a few spins you kind start to like it more and more, especially when you find out the top jackpot is 15,000 coins!
