We were quite excited when we heard that there was going to be another Spiderman video slot machine, however unlike the movies where the second movie was actually on par if not better than the first, this is not the case with Spiderman Revelations.

This seems to us as just an attempt to release something to cash in just a little more. Spiderman Revelations is a video slot that has 25 pay lines and a bonus feature which yields cash prizes or free games.

The graphics are stunning, as is usual with the Marvel hero games. And as usual, this game is linked to the Hero Jackpot threesome. This is where I felt this game starts to fail because of the greatness of the first game; there was a lot to live up to in terms of expectations.

There just wasn't enough going on here to make it a worthy sequel. The free bonus game is triggered with 3 or more REVELATIONS symbols and you get taken to a nicely animated section where Spiderman fights Dr Octopus on a train. You get to choose to try saving a hostage or taking the current winnings so far. Though the idea is good, the prizes don't actually get better as you save more hostages nor when you beat Dr Octopus.

Overall a disappointment. I hope they don't try to bring out a 3rd video slot in the series, but if they do, they'd better make it something special!
