Following a very successful line of slot machines which all have the feature where every single symbol is animated, Spikes Nite Out does certainly deliver on the visual side. The theme chosen for this game is a Dogs playing Poker theme, no doubt inspired by the series of famous paintings by CM Coolidge.

As with all these video slot games, there is a bonus feature which is triggered with 3 or more adjacent DOGGY TIME symbols. Once triggered you are taken to a Dogs Playing Poker scene where you get up to 6 picks to reveal prizes. Each time you pick you'll receive a prize and possibly another pick. Just read what the cards say on screen.

Although this is the only feature, there is a big jackpot of 15000x the wager over 15 possible paylines. In conclusion, I liked this game, but I did expect more from it since the theme is famous and there was more scope to do really interesting things.

"...Why do microgaming persist with that horrible music in the background during the base game, its horrible! just have music during the feature or free games, and the reelspin sounds are distracting. Why not use the Aristocrat (landbased) reelspin style of sound...."
