What can one say about this long awaited release apart from WOW. Street Fighter video slot machine is everything we’d hoped it would be. The fantastic video game has made a very smooth transition over and the gameplay and animations are first class indeed.

The game itself is a 5 reel video slot machine and there are 3D graphic elements in the background as the reels turn. There are 25 paylines and the top jackpot with the game is 5000 coins. These are the basics but the real amazing treat is in the bonus game feature.

First off when you start the game, you are instructed to select your fighter from the top menu. This is like choosing your character to play the game. The characters you can choose from are Ken, Ryu, Guile, Sagat and Chun Li. These are all the classic characters from the original game.

The character you choose becomes a wild card and appears randomly on reel 2. To activate the bonus game, you must hit your character on reel 2, and BISON on reel 4.

When this happens, you’ll be treated to a heavy hitting massive win bonus feature. Reels 2 and 4 become full reel animations of the characters and you enter into the fight mode.

In this mode, reels 2 and 4 are wild. On reels 1 and 5, additional icons are added to the symbols on the reels, and these correspond to fight actions for each character. A FIST symbol indicates a punch, a FOOT is a kick, a STAR is the characters special move, and any combination thereof. The reels then spin.

As with the video game, each move takes energy off your characters health bar. The bonus game feature continues reel spinning until one of the characters has been KO’d.

With 2 wild reels, this bonus round creates huge winnings. I couldn’t believe the amount that was won the first time I played this bonus game.

Street Fighter video slot is definitely a game for the fans of the computer game. However, even though it is a game for the boys, no doubt the explosive bonus round will get all the girls flocking to play it as well.
