THE MUMMY is an adventurous multi-lined video slot based on the Hollywood movie of the same name. This slot has 5 reels and 25 winning paylines and was developed by PLAYTECH.

The symbols include Pistols, Statues, Scarabs, Gold Treasure, The High Priest, The Scorpion King and the two main characters Rick (Brendan Fraser) and Evy (Rachel Weisz).

The main SCATTER symbol is THE MUMMY LOGO and the WILD symbol is the decaying MUMMY. This wild symbol will substitute all other symbols on the reels to generate a win except for the Scatter symbols, the Mummy Hunt BONUS symbols or the Flying Machine FREE SPINS symbols.

The first notable bonus round is the LOST CITY ADVENTURE BONUS. This is randomly triggered during regular play. Once this has been triggered, you will be taken to a second screen to play out a simple picking round to reveal hidden cash prizes behind the ancient crates.

Players can also unlock additional features while playing this bonus game. If you reveal the word COLLECT, the feature will come to an end and you will be awarded with one of the special features.  Players can win up to a maximum of 8 different features. You will notice to the left of the reels 6 different slots beneath the words ‘Select a Feature’. For each feature that you have collected during the bonus game, they will be added to this special section. One of these features can be activated during regular play. The following reveals what each feature actually does, in no particular order. Expanding Mummy Feature: All of the WILD symbols become expanding wilds, covering the entire reel. Scorpion Scatter Symbol: The scorpion symbols turn into scatters and will pay you according to your stake. Collapsing Reels feature: Additional prizes can be won as winning symbols are obliterated and other symbols will fall into their place from above.  

The Scarab Attack feature transforms two random symbols into wilds when it appears on reel 3 (the centre reel). Mummy Respin feature: If the Wild symbol appears on reel 3 and you don’t win anything, it will hold in place for another spin while the other reels spin. This will happen until you receive a win.

Mummy Power feature: For every wild symbol that helps to complete a line win, it will increase that win with a x3 multiplier. For example if two of these symbols appear, you will win a x6 multiplier.

Free Spins are awarded when the Flying Machine symbols appear on reels 1, 3 and 5, from one spin. This free spins round usually generates huge prizes.

The last main feature in this game is the MUMMY HUNT feature. These symbols will become a permanent addition to the reels if they are won in the Lost City Adventure Bonus and when they appear on reels 1 and 5 from one spin, the Mummy Hunt feature is activated.
