The Terminator Review:
From a classic film comes this quite enviable video slot machine of The Terminator. The graphics are very representative of the film genre and there are elements in the design which are great. The animations of the symbols are nice but I still think overall the symbols and reels are a bit small for my taste. I much prefer large symbols.

Even with the large symbols, the game plays quite well. The bonus features are plenty with a free spin round triggered with a NITRO bomb on reel 1, a MOTORBIKE on reel 3 and a TANKER on reel 5. A random number of free spins are awarded and the free games are played at the same bet level that triggered it. The other features cannot be triggered during free spins. First you go through the weapon selection screen where each choice of weapon will reveal the number of free spins you win.

Then there is the Locate Sarah Connor feature which is triggered with 3 or more scattered T800 head symbols. In this free game you move from screen to screen shooting down the objects and villains to reveal the prizes.

The Kyle Reese feature is triggered randomly and this time you play to destroy the machines and destroy as many as possible. A prize is awarded for each one destroyed. If you miss a shot you will end the feature.

Although it does play well the only problem I'd have with it is the fairly measly payout schedule. The low ranking combos don't do very much at all to recoup bets so all you really play for is the features and the big combo wins. Even though you can play up to $1,000 per spin, we recommend play The Terminator on low bet levels.
