Top Gun is another Party Casino special with their big reputation being able to license big brands for video slot adaptations. Unlike the previous incarnations of The Godfather and other movie adaptations, Top Gun is slightly better, perhaps due to the simplicity of it.

The game is laced with video footage from the movie. These clips are layered into slot symbols, the bonus game and the introduction too.

The design of the game with the reels on the HUD of a fighter plane is fairly nice. There is also the odd background movement and other jets flying across the background as if the plane is flying around. This is quite a decent effect.

The game is 5 reels with 20 pay lines and a bonus game which is nice because it shows a lot of movie footage of planes dog fighting. The symbols are all pretty neat too and the sound track as been imported fairly well.

I still wouldn't go so far as to say that this is an amazing game, I still think there are lots more things that could have been improved for this to become classic. As it stands, I like the game and I'm sure you movie fans will appreciate this theme.
